The Academy has worked cooperatively with various bodies to ensure that only the most experienced professionals are included in our member roster. Note though that there are no formal certification requirements for the private practice of mediation or arbitration in Idaho.

Idaho Mediation Association

The Idaho Mediation Association (IMA) was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 1983, holding chapters throughout the entire State of Idaho. Our members practice mediation (and related types of dispute resolution) in a variety of areas including divorce, business, environmental, family, government and workplace. Through many hours of case practice and training experience, our mediators offer a safe environment for parties to express their needs and concerns, discuss options and reach a mutually agreeable resolution. Our members have gone through the required process to become a Certified Professional Mediator (CPM).
